Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes, for the health and safety of our horses, we follow the widely accepted 20% rule—meaning a horse can carry up to 20% of its body weight, including the rider and saddle. This typically places the rider weight limit between 200–250 lbs, depending on the horse. Height and body composition also matter, as balance and weight distribution affect the horse just as much as total weight. If you're unsure, feel free to reach out—we're happy to help you find the best fit.

  • We recommend wearing long pants and closed-toe shoes—preferably boots with a small heel. Avoid loose scarves, purses, or dangling jewelry. Sunscreen and a hat are great for sunny days, and we’ll provide helmets for safety.

  • Parking is available right at the ranch entrance. Look for our sign and park anywhere available. If you’re unsure, our team will be happy to guide you when you arrive.
